  1. You guys have obviously ripped off the comic Frank!

    1. I might not be looking at the right Frank comic, but I don't see any similarities.

    2. Anybody can search and look through the comic online, and I think they will find that our work isn't a rip off.

  2. I can certainly see some similarities, but I think it's going a bit far claiming we've ripped Frank off.

  3. Looks great!

Did you have to go through RACC?

    1. Thank you!

We got our permit through the RACC, after we submitted our design to the Pearl Neighborhood Association District and received unanimous approval from them. They wrote a letter of recommendation to RACC and it was approved a week later!

  4. It is fantastic!! Thank you for being as bold as The Beatles and painting (unauthorized, of course) Apple Boutique in 1967.

  6. I walk past this every day on my way to and from work, and it seriously brightens my mood. I'm a beginning quilter and imagine my surprise when up pops a mural full of gorgeous motifs that I want to stitch! Thanks guys, it's amazing.

    1. So glad to hear that it brightens your mood! These types of motifs would be awesome on a quilt. I have two quilts from my great grandmother that I've had with me all throughout art school, and their crazy patterns and colors have always been an inspiration to me.
